Sea Media Network, the inter-island television advertising system aboard Transportation Services’ Cruz Bay 1 ferry, travels between Red Hook, St. Thomas and Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI. The Network is displayed on four LCD screens inside the ferry. The multiple-zoned screens run informative advertisements and entertaining features during embarkation, the ferry ride, and disembarkation. Ads run at various lengths in Zones A, B and C. Sound from the screens (in Zone C) can be heard in the lower and upper decks.
This is the NEW WAVE of advertising.
Ads that run in the Display portion of the screen can either be still (or stagnant images) or video. Video entails full motion, or one or more moving elements. Advertising space is limited. Six-month, nine-month, and annual contracts available. Annual contracts (paid in full) receive a 10% discount. Subject to programming space availability.
